Summary History Calendar Teams

The history of the Federals proved to be a long series of defeats probably due to a weak team, that wobbly, never, found its brands in Kennedy Stadium. Here too, the USFL played competition with the NFL but never reach the minimum level that could have something to fear Redskins (NFL) neighbors.

With a win in 14 games during the inaugural year, the team offered every week a new crop of what not to do when you're on the football field.  The following year, they changed their uniform (silver color taking in the drawing above), just to boredom of spectators.

Yet, even if for the 1984 season, it was not until the ninth game to finally see a victory, the Federals had some talent on poorly exploited. Include for example Curtis Bledsoe (RB) and 1084 yards or Billy Taylor (757 yards race, 64 receptions for 523 yards), but given the 65 interceptions (an average of over 3 per game!) For only 45 touchdowns, these good statistics to no avail.

After two years of disastrous, franchise should have been sold to Sherwood Weiser and moved to Miami, but when the league announced the transfer of the season from spring to autumn, the latter wished not to compete with the Dolphins (NFL) neighbors. Therefore, Bernhard had to rely to supply Don Dizney who transfered team in Orlando where she took the name Renegades.
